How To Make Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris

By

Strawberry Daiquiris are the perfect cocktails for a hot summer day. These slushy beverages blend together sweet strawberries, spiced rum, lime juice and powdered sugar to create a cool treat that will beat the heat!

These easy frozen Strawberry Daiquiris will only take five minutes to make, so you'll be back by the pool in no time!

(the recipe below will make approximately 7 servings)

Ingredients

  • 10oz. bag frozen sliced strawberries in syrup
  • 3oz. frozen limeade concentrate, (half of a 6oz. can)
  • 6oz. rum, (I recommend Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum)
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • approximately 3 cups ice cubes

    Directions:

    1. Place frozen strawberries with syrup, spiced rum, frozen limeade concentrate, and powdered sugar in a blender.
    2. Cover and blend until your mixture is smooth.
    3. Add the ice cubes. While your blender is running, add your ice cubes one at a time through the opening in the lid until your strawberry daiquiri is slushy.
    4. Serve. Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris can be served in Margarita glasses. If desired, garnish with a strawberry or lime wedge. Enjoy!

where do u buy frozen limeade concentrate??

Tony, limeade concentrate can be purchased in most supermarkets. The most commonly carried brand in these markets is Minute Maid, and it can usually be found just next to the frozen lemonade and orange juice concentrate. All of these frozen concentrates typically come in a small 6 ounce can, and I would start my search in the ice cream aisle.

Hmmmm...I've never thought to put limeade in there! I love daiquiris and limeade, so I will be trying this one out for sure!
